Fridge questions
For community fridges and shared pantries - keep it simple.
Can it be donation-based?
Yes. List a suggested amount as the product price, or multiple amounts.
Do people need to register?
No. Scan and pay - same as any honesty model.
Who gets the money?
Straight to the organiser’s Stripe or cash - Vendl doesn’t hold funds.
Is this only for Australia?
Vendl works in multiple countries. PayID is Australia-only; other regions use local options.
“It was all so easy and fast to set up - your 10-minute setup was generous. I did it all in about three!”
“I was keen to try something that didn't have so many fees - like PayID.”
Start free. Pay only when a card sale is made.
A$0 per month, with every Vendl feature.
Cash and PayID have no Vendl fee. Card, Tap & Go and pay-later sales on Free include a 2.5% Vendl fee, plus standard Stripe processing fees.
You can absorb the Vendl fee or pass it on to customers. Upgrade to Pro later to remove it.
